I'm a Lead Engineer at Thoughtworks, where I've worked since 2021 across client engagements and Global Technology.
My work combines hands-on software engineering with architectural decisions, collaboration with product teams and mentoring. I've helped teams evolve existing applications, build new platforms and improve how they develop and deliver software.
Selected work
Industrial distribution client
I lead workstreams focused on A/B testing and experimentation, alongside the modernization and rearchitecture of legacy applications. My role combines hands-on engineering with technical direction, helping the team turn product goals into implementation decisions.
Global agriscience company
I provided technical direction for a team building and evolving a portal for business operations. My work spanned frontend and backend development, architectural decisions and alignment between engineering and business needs.
I also mentored developers and supported collaboration across teams, working with TypeScript, React, .NET and Azure in a distributed architecture.
Thoughtworks Global Technology
As a Technical Product Owner, I supported the development and delivery of the Technology Radar and Looking Glass, working across technical leadership, marketing, content and engineering teams.
My responsibilities included coordinating publishing workflows and roadmaps, managing backlogs and maintaining the code and automations behind the editorial process. It was a chance to bring product thinking, software engineering and my journalism background into the same work.

Global accounting firm
I helped engineering teams build and evolve a distributed web platform used across business units. My work included architectural decisions, stakeholder alignment, development practices and coordination of delivery across teams, using React, TypeScript, .NET and Azure.
Major telecommunications company
I worked with a UI engineering team on application development and integration with external systems and APIs. I helped rearchitect an existing frontend monolith into micro-frontends and coached developers through implementation and design decisions.
Online survey services company
I helped evolve a SaaS product and its ecosystem, refactoring legacy JavaScript into TypeScript with test-driven development. The work focused on making the codebase easier to extend, improving developer experience and mentoring engineers.
Before Thoughtworks
At Trivento Educação (2020–2021), I developed web and mobile applications and later led development work on learning management software. At Mercurio Digital (2016–2020), I built websites and applications across media, marketing, health and other domains.
Before moving into software, I worked in journalism, digital communications and English teaching. Explaining things clearly has remained part of the job.
Tools and practices
Much of my professional work has been with TypeScript, React and Node.js, alongside APIs, cloud platforms and distributed systems. I also have experience with Elixir/Phoenix, Ruby, Python and PHP.
Beyond the stack, I work with testing, CI/CD, feature flags, release practices and architectural evolution. I still have a soft spot for functional programming.
